We've an exciting new line up of evenings this spring including guest speakers, formal and informal competitions, outings, and a practical shoot with some models. See the programme page for the full listing (Jan - April).

Outings

This season we're heading to picturesque Blackrock, a rally, and also to Dublin City Center, which should make for some inspiring subject matter.

Upcoming Talks

Motorsport Photography, 23rd Feb

We have a guest speaking on the racy(ahem...) topic of Motor Sport Photography. Following from this evening we plan to arrange an outing to a rally.

Composition and Critical Thinking, 9th Mar

Acclaimed Irish cinematographer, Finn van Geldren, is presenting a talk on Composition and Critical thinking.

Finn van Geldren is one of Ireland's most skilled and gifted camera operators. Schooled in the difficult art of documentary, where he has carved out a considerable reputation, he also has extensive experience in film drama, and has worked in and been a highly regarded teacher of all forms of cinematography. Exposure and Filters, 23rd Mar

We also have a talk on Exposure and Filters by guest speaker and professional landscape photographer, Peter Gordon.

Accomplished professional fine art photographer, Peter Gordon, has been published and exhibited around the world in places such as the Royal Photographic Society and Photo Art International. As well as creating photographic art and working on commissions, Peter runs intensive landscape photography workshops providing the unique insights of a pro, and tips to improve your landscape photography and overall photographic skill level.
