Welcome back to our Offshoot Activities for Autumn 2026. Hope everyone had a great Summer!

Next Monday ay the club

Next Monday Kevin Grace will present to us on the landscapes of Val d’Orcia in Tuscany in Spring and the landscapes and seascapes of Tenerife in Winter.

2026 Club Exhibition Underway

Our 2026 Club Exhibition is now on display in Ballyogan Library until 30 September. A big congratulations to those members exhibiting – the images are superb and do the Club proud! 

We have become aware that some members may not have received the communications about the exhibition launch. We apologies for this. The issue is being investigated.

Shoot With Me – Call for Group Leaders

As ever the success of SWM relies on getting volunteer leaders. Five groups have been active over the Summer – so we now want to set up another 5 or 7 groups for the Autumn series. Many groups have had two members sharing the Group Leader role.

We would like to kick off the Autumn SWM as soon as possible. To volunteer to lead a group, please email your chosen project title with a short description to swm@offshoot.ie now or talk to Bob Acton for further clarification.

Club Competition

The next club competition is ‘Open’ Theme, printed with judging on Monday 28 September.

Max of one image per member to be submitted / uploaded by Monday 21 September – so we can get them printed and mounted in time. More details to follow.

Here’s the fun bit: we’re judging this competition ourselves!

Club Outing – Laytown Races

The next Club outing is to Laytown Races on Thursday 10 September. Full details including parking and meet-up locations have been sent out by email to all members on 02 September.
