Meet our Members

If you are a member and want your own Wall space here is what you have to do. We need your name, a passport style photo of you, your Flickr account name and a few lines describing yourself and your photographic interests or influences. Email the details to us here: webmaster@offshoot.ie
The last 2 pieces of information we need requires that you first create two Sets on your Flickr account. In one Set you create you will add photos which have a landscape orientation – ie shots which are longer on the horizontal axis. In the other Set you create you will add photos which have a portrait orientation – i.e. shots which are longer on the vertical axis. This is because the Flickr badge display can’t automatically align a mixture of portrait and landscape oriented shots in the same box and its better to have two boxes, one for each orientation, so that Flickr aligns the images properly.
Once you have created your two Sets and added 10 – 15 images into each you then need to send us the Flickr address for each Set. The easiest way to get this is to view your new Set within your normal Flickr Photostream and note the address that is in the address bar of your browser. As an example of this will look like: http://www.flickr.com/photos/your Flickr name/sets/72157630001651212/
That’s it, once we have those details we can create your Wall space and then each time someone visits your Wall they will see a random selection of shots from your two Sets. If you want different pictures to appear on your Wall just make the changes to the Sets on Flickr and they will automatically get picked up and used on your Wall. Ideally you will have 15 – 20 shots per Set so that repeat visitors will see a different collection on successive visits or when they press F5 or refresh while viewing your Wall.
Any questions feel free to email webmaster@offshoot.ie.
