First, a big thank you to all those involved in organising the Club Exhibition in Deansgrange library. As usual, it looks great. Particular thanks to Tony and David for their hard work in making sure it all happens, and Steve for the printing.

Just a reminder that due to the changes in the library hours, we are only able to show 50 images at a time. Consequently, the images are split into two exhibitions of 50 and the images will be swapped on the 28th of May. So you will need to visit the Exhibition after this date to see the remainder of the images.

This Monday we have a session on posing and photographing with models.

IPF National Club Competition

Just a reminder that the IPF National Club Competition kicks off in Mullingar this morning with the Black & White panel going up first followed by the Colour Panel in the afternoon. On Sunday there is an AGM, various other IPF meetings and the Prize Giving. Hopefully, we are at the front of that queue! All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Details are on the IPF website.

Thanks to all those involved in the selection and preparation of images as well as all who submitted images.

If you happen to be in the Botanic Gardens during May, don’t forget to have a look at the Visitor Centre. There you will find eleven photographs entitled “Butterflies of the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin and Kilmacurragh”, the work of Offshoot member Robbie O’Leary. The usual impeccable standards of printing and framing by Steve are evident.
