OffShoot Photography Society We believe that the image is everything!

20th February 2021

News

Last Monday, all that attended the largest zoom group meeting we've had, were mesmerised and enthused by Andrea Hunt’s presentation on Macro. This fascinating subject is of great interest to many members and there is no doubt that Andrea now has added many more to our expert core of macro photographers.

Next Monday Night

On Monday Eamon O'Daly of Outdoor Studio Photography and Lightroom Training in Skerries will talk to us about the Evolving Technology and the DSLR/Mirrorless Debate. Eamon has immense knowledge of his topic and in more normal times he runs fantastic outings and workshops. Have a look at his website https://www.skerriesphotography.com/ for ideas in or out of lockdown.

This is sure to be interesting, especially when you consider the advances in technology in the last ten and more years.

Come and join us; be educated and entertained.

Learn With Me (LWM)

A big thank you to all who have completed the questionnaire. Your response was fantastic and indicates a real interest of members in this project. We have held our first session on Focus Stacking and we have plans for a beginner’s guide to their photography and a lesson from a master on Landscape.

What do we all look like?

Having all gone virtual we miss the personal interaction and sometimes it’s difficult to fit a face to a name? We are exploring how we can expand the website to solve this. Watch this space we haven't forgotten.
