Next Monday Night – "People in Images" Competition Judging
Michelle La Grue FIPF/LIPPVA from Malahide Camera Club will judge the ‘People in Images’ competition. This meeting will be a virtual meeting with a remote joining Zoom option.
The meeting next Monday is our last meeting and this is the last Newsletter until the Autumn. We have an exciting agenda of outings lined up over the summer. Where needed, email communications will be used to advise members as required during the Summer months.
Emily will send out a link on Sunday evening.
Autumn Meetings
Subject to any significant change in the public health situation, hybrid meetings will be dropped. So, most of our meetings will be held in St Brigid’s School without Zoom feeds. We will have a number of Zoom-only sessions to take advantage of the availability of remote and overseas speakers.
Our Club Exhibition
The Annual Club Exhibition returns this year and will be held in the DLR Lexicon over 6 weeks commencing 12th July 2022.
Thank you to all who have submitted their images, we have had a wonderful response with a fantastic selection of images.
Thank you to everyone who has paid for their images so far, it is appreciated.
A launch party has been booked for the first night of the exhibition (12th July) at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire – so please put that date in your calendar!

Summer Outings
During July and August, we will run a series of Monday Outdoor Meetings to take advantage of the longer evenings and, hopefully, summer weather.

Summer Project
For those members who would enjoy a little challenge over the next few months, we will run a Summer Project:
There are two Themes on offer:
o Summer in Mono, or
o Sport and Pastimes
The objective is to produce a mini panel of 4 digital images on one of the themes.
These will be presented at our first scheduled meeting back in the school on Monday 29th August at 20.00. |
