This Monday – Photo Challenge Part 2
At the beginning of the year, a number of our members took on a personal challenge to photograph and present their images on a topic of their choice. This can be either as a set of photographs or an audiovisual presentation. Last Monday we saw the results from nine of our members: next Monday a further eight members will present their projects to us. We can look forward to another inspiring and entertaining evening!
Same But Different – Learning from Each Other
As you know, we are running this initiative between now and Monday 27th October, the results of which will be shown in the club on 3rd November.
The idea is that we can learn by seeing other people’s approach to processing the same image. It will become even more relevant for you if you have tried to process some of the images yourself as you’ll be comparing them directly to your own approach and thought process.
We have made 12 photographs available for people to process in whatever way they think is best. You can do as few or as many as you wish.

After you have processed an image:
We have decided to include the software used for processing in the information we show on 3rd November. In a change from the original email, please now save your image as a JPEG with the following naming format;
Lightroom users – membership number-LR-photo number eg 499-LR-06.jpg
Photoshop users – membership number-PS-photo number eg 499-PS-03.jpg
Capture One users - membership number-CO-photo number eg 499-CO-05.jpg
Affinity users - membership number-AF-photo number eg 499-AF-01.jpg
PhotoLab users - membership number-PL-photo number eg 499-PL-09.jpg
Luminar users - membership number-LU-photo number eg 499-LU-08.jpg

IPF Shield Competition Images Selection
Thanks to all members who submitted images for consideration for the Offshoot panels for the IPF Shield competition.
Our group of assessors will now get to work to select our panels. The results of this process will be advised in due course.
Please Collect Your Exhibition Images
Some member images from the exhibition at the DLR Lexicon and from our recent Landscape competition are being stored in the school.
If they are yours, please arrange to collect them at any Monday evening club meeting. |
