So what did Offshoot members get up to over Christmas? One of the things they did was to prepare for a fun informal competition scheduled for our first meeting of 2013.
This was a projected image nite when members brought along the pick off their Christmas shots. No need to print – just bring the images along on a memory stick and have them displayed via projector. To help things along we had provided a number of themes that members should follow.
The clear winner, as voted by the attending members, was “The Night Before Christmas” by Phil Tung. Phil told us she was trying for a nice midnight shot of the Dun Laoghaire clock tower on Christmas Eve when, low and behold, she noticed Santa’s sleigh passing in the background.
