Club Competition – Open (Projected)

19 November 2025 | Club Competitions

On Monday 17th November, Paul Stanley was our judge for our sixth and final competition in 2025, which had a theme of Open (Projected).

Paul Stanley (FIPF, EFIAP, ESFIAP) is a member of Dublin Camera Club. He is also the FIAP Liaison Officer for the Irish Photographic Federation, the main contact for Irish photographers seeking FIAP distinctions. As such, Paul has vast experience in judging images, and this was evident in his approach on the night.

The members benefited greatly from his insights on the images shown and discussed, particularly regarding composition, exposure, sharpness, and the importance of making the main subject the brighter part of the image by toning down distractions.

Congratulations and thanks to all who entered, and in particular to those placed and commended as set out below.
