After all the sunny blue skies of the Christmas Holidays, our first outing of 2026 on 6th January was a somewhat damp affair. Rain forecast from 10 – 12!!
However, 13 brave individuals, cameras at the ready, met at St Stephen’s Green shopping centre at 10.30 am, ducking under cover from the drizzle.
The brief was Pub and Shop windows around St Stephen’s Green and perhaps somewhat further afield. Off we set, individuals and groups, a visual documentary of shop and pub architecture. The drizzle made more of an effort and became rain, but not for long.
But as we all know, time flies when you are photographing any subject, and before we knew it, it was noon and coffee at Marks and Spencer beckoned. All 13 arrived to chat and exchange stories. The sun arrived too! A great day was had by all.
