On Tuesday 14th December 9 members arrived at Stephen’s Green in glorious sunshine. We meandered down a rather quiet Grafton Street, Covid had taken its toll on the usual Christmas bustle. Still, we all kept a keen eye out to catch some candid moments in time.
We gathered forces once again at the Molly Malone statue to search for a coffee shop in Temple Bar. After a warm coffee and great catchup, we continued on to take some more photos.
Some of us went on to an exhibition ” In Our Own Image: photography in Ireland, 1839 to the present” curated by the Gallery of Photography Ireland in partnership with Dublin Castle / OPW is at The Printworks, Dublin Castle, open until 6th February. This was wonderful and well worth a visit. Tanya Kiang. CEO of the Gallery of photography took us on a tour which brought the exhibition to life with her great passion and the many years it took to realize this collection.
