Forget Downton Abbey – Marlay House was the perfect period setting for an old style photo shoot on Saturday October 20th. As part of our collaboration with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Co Co Arts Department, Offshoot were thrilled to have the opportunity to shoot models in period costume in the wonderfully restored Marlay House setting.
The shoot was open to the public as well with a morning and an afternoon session. All places were booked in advance with some participants travelling from as far as Belfast to take part. A number of Offshoot members had brought along their studio lighting kits and we had three lit setups plus all those wonderfully framed big sash windows to get creative with.
It turned out to be one of those magic outings that was really appreciated by all who took part.
