SWM May 2017 – Processing with Free Software

23 May 2017 | Shoot With Me

In the group we tried some processing techniques to bring out the best in our photos: David in a technical way and Phil in a creative way.

The point of using open source software (which is free) is that the experience could improve our understanding of how to use layers, blending modes, luminosity masks etc and so improve our processing skills no matter what software we usually use.

David was hoping that some shooters who don’t process might also catch the bug, but that didn’t happen this time. David would be happy to do it again in another Shoot With Me.
