SWM November 2015 – Dublin in Black & White

10 December 2015 | Shoot With Me

Our “Dublin In Black & White” Shoot With Me involved visits to familiar Dublin city centre landmarks on a number of different occasions. We targeted the hour before and after sunset, to try and get the best sky backgrounds and a variety of city lights.

All shooting styles were encouraged, including street, architectural, landscape, travel, etc..

We used WhatsApp to communicate and co-ordinate our outings. We also posted images to a private Flickr group to share our experiences and provide inspiration to each other. Each member then used a variety of techniques to convert to Black & White, selecting their own image for printing.

It was a rewarding experience with lots of lessons absorbed combined with a fresh look at some familiar places. This photo sums up the spirit of the group.
