I hope that those of you who were up early for the sunrise at Whiterock this morning had a good time.

This Monday you can learn more about animal photography with a talk by Patrick Bolger. He’s the guy who took ‘that’ picture of the baby gorilla with its mother in Dublin Zoo – you can read about it here. His website is https://www.patrickbolger.com

For all levels 16 September 2019.

Printed or Projected?

Level 1 – Projected

Level 2 – Printed

Level 3 – Printed

How many images can I enter?

Level 1: Maximum 2

Level 2: Maximum 2

Level 3: Maximum 4

Are there different sections for B&W and Colour?

For Level 1 there is one combined section for B&W and Colour.

For Level 2 & 3  there are two sections, B&W and Colour.

How many images can I enter in each section?

Level 1 - 2

Level 2 - 2

Level 3 - 2

For Level 1. How do I submit my images?

Click on the following link and follow the instructions to upload your images to the Competition Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/request/54WlNtuUicRXuqUgHztC.

Do this before or on 16th September.

For Level 2 and Level 3. When do I have to get my images to 360-DPI for them to be printed?

If you want your entries printed by Steve Crozier of 360dpi then they need to be with him by the 9th September.

For Level 2 and Level 3. How do I get my images to 360-DPI?

1. Go to the Image upload web page at: http://360-dpi.com/image-uploads/.

2. Fill in your name, email, phone number

3.  In the ‘Notes’ section enter in ‘Offshoot Competition entry’. This is important because Steve will then use the print sizes mentioned above.

4. In the ‘Files’ section choose ‘Hanemuhle Photo Lustre’ for ‘Paper Type’, put an * in both the  ‘Length’ and ‘Width’ boxes and select the ‘Choose file’ button. this will show a dialog box where you can select your image.

5. Repeat for the other images you want to be printed.

6. Select the 'Upload' button at the bottom left. Wait until your images are uploaded.

7. Pick up and pay for your mounted photos on Monday evening at the club meeting.
