Monday's Virtual Speaker

Society member Steve Crozier will take us through the steps required to prepare our images for printing.

Weekly Flickr Theme

Liquid: 

Liquid can be still or moving, and if moving, can be smooth and soft,  or sharp and jagged. You will need to think about shutter speed for this topic, and your choice of shutter speed will depend on whether you want a smooth result  - for which a longer exposure is needed - or a sharp/jagged result - for which a fast shutter speed is needed.

Liquids come in many colours and consistencies.  You may be inspired by the cup of tea that you are drinking or the olive oil that you are pouring. Perhaps by the rain falling outside, or the water washing your hands, or you may have long been thinking about water splash photography for which there are many online tutorials.  The possibilities are many. We hope you enjoy the theme and look forward to seeing what you produce.

Speakers and Outings

The main Committee and Outings Sub-Committee has been working very hard behind the scenes, constantly adapting their plans to try and keep pace with the changing rules associated with social distancing. It is especially satisfying to announce this schedule of events for July and August.
