Each member could submit one image. With no formal judge and no indication of each photographer’s level, members attending the event selected the winners. The images were displayed around the room, and each member ranked their four favourites, placing their top choice first. They then used their phones to enter each image’s randomly assigned number on a web page.
Software developed by Lionel Barker aggregated the votes to select a winner in Levels 1 and 2, along with overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places and two Highly Commended awards.
