Last Monday, 5th October, Dermot Byrne spoke to us about the theory of doing studio portrait and model photography, covering both lighting and working with the model.
Dermot showed us practically how to do this by having a set of lights, Emilia (one of our models), and his camera tethered to Lightroom so that he could show us in real time what he was talking about.
On 19th October we will get to put his advice to the test. All members are to bring their cameras, and we will have two photography points with a set of lights and a model. The models on the night will be Emilia and Yasmin.
Dermot will be on hand to help members take some shots.
So please think about the type of shots you would like to take and how you would like to pose the models.
