Club Outing – Powerscourt Waterfall
A group of about fourteen OffShoot members visited Powerscourt Waterfall. Other than ourselves, visitors were few when we arrived, giving us a better than usual chance to select our favourite aspects. Although mostly overcast the light was good and we enjoyed occasional brighter moments.
The falls, always beautiful, were spectacular as a result of recent rains and we were able to capture both landscape and close-up images. In addition to the waterfall itself, the wooded approach was full of photographic potential. The winter foliage under the leafless trees with the light emphasising the branches attracted some of our members
