Club Outing – Living History: War & Vikings

A living history weekend will occur at the Irish Military Museum and Park in Co Meath on the weekend of 18th May. It will cover the Napoleonic Wars, World War 1 and World War 2.

There will be people dressed in the uniforms of all the relevant armies who will be putting on displays for attendees. There will also be a large amount of memorabilia on show.

It opens at 10.30 am, and the entrance cost is €10 with no pre-booking necessary. Information is available at www.irishmilitarymuseum.com.

We’ll meet at 10.30 am in the car park of the Irish Military Museum.

On the same day, there will also be a Viking festival at Slane Castle, with the Vikings landing at 2 pm. Tickets are €28 but must be bought in advance.
